AhlulBayt News Agency: Senator Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, said in his speech at the Senate that Modi wanted to disrupt the balance of power in South Asia. South Asia is the heart of the entire Asian continent, where Pakistan is located. If the balance of power here is disturbed, peace in the entire region will be shattered.
He said: Indian PM, Modi also initiated a dangerous new precedent: he would announce an incident himself, assign blame himself, and then act as judge to impose punishment — just like the time when a U.S. president said, "Wherever we feel a threat, we will strike."
Modi thought that India had become the power in South Asia and that he could attack anyone without facing any accountability or reaction. He intended to devastate the entire region.
But that was his major miscalculation. Our armed forces and the people responded courageously and did not allow the balance of power in the region to be disturbed.
He further said that if we want to resist domination and occupation, we must also be politically and economically self-reliant. Just as we united to defend Pakistan, we must also establish political independence on the global stage.
Political stability in Pakistan will come only when elections are free and fair, and the constitution reigns supreme.
He emphasized the need to organize our own house. The Senate should visit Balochistan, meet with the people, engage with them, and try to solve their problems. We must go to KP, GB, and across all of Pakistan to restore peace and order, bringing people on board so we can face threats effectively.
He added: We must remain vigilant. If we mistakenly believe that defeating India means the threat is over, we are gravely mistaken. Any nation that sleeps in the face of an enemy ends up suffering greater losses.
He warned: Believe me, the Battle of Uhud is before us. One small mistake was made — the Prophet (PBUH) had commanded not to leave the mountain pass, but when it was abandoned, we suffered a massive loss and many great personalities were martyred.
Under the patronage of the U.S. and Israel, Modi wanted to bring about a major transformation in the entire region. We must understand that the United States is not our friend. Until India received a serious blow, America kept its eyes closed and gave a green signal. But as soon as India began to face defeat, the U.S. immediately called for a ceasefire.
We must recognize both our friends and enemies. A nation that falls asleep always ends up being defeated.
